Aquila EV Grouped Project: Regional Stakeholder Consultation Meeting – Registered under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)

In Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, gasoline motorcycles are the backbone of daily transport — and one of the region’s largest untapped sources of avoidable emissions.

To tackle that issue, we are bringing together electric vehicle companies from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam to launch one of Southeast Asia’s EV carbon credit programs — the Aquila EV Grouped Project, registered under Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard.

Introduction

Aquila Climate Capital Pte. Ltd. is the project proponent of the EV Grouped Project, a multi-country carbon credit project. The project partners with electric two-wheeler companies across Southeast Asia — financing, leasing, manufacturing, or operating electric motorcycle fleets used by gig-economy and personal-use riders — to displace gasoline motorcycles and power a cleaner, more affordable future for all.

Please find HERE the project summary, agenda, and information on how to submit feedback.

As part of developing the Aquila EV Grouped Project, we are conducting a Regional Stakeholder Consultation covering Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. This meeting aims to gather views, comments, and suggestions on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the project, and to explain the benefits of transitioning to clean and affordable electric mobility.
