The problem

A rooftop solar system costs a lot to buy at once. Many Thai households and small businesses would save on power but cannot pay the full price upfront.

Volt’s VOLT Flex plan removes that barrier. It asks for 0% down and no collateral. Approval depends mainly on household electricity usage and home ownership status.

What Volt does

Volt installs rooftop solar for homes and businesses across Thailand. Customers pay in instalments, with 0% down. The instalments run for up to 60 months and start from a low monthly amount in baht.

Volt pays for the equipment and the installation first. It then collects the payments over five years.

Every new sale ties up cash before it earns. The more Volt sells, the more working capital it needs.

What changed

Aquila has financed the working capital behind those instalments since July 2025. The financing runs for 12 months, in USD and EUR. Each tranche has grown from $150k to $500k, and the total is $1.2M+* across four tranches.

The financing lets Volt keep installing without waiting for each customer’s instalments to come in.
